Navigators for a Health Louisiana

Navigators for a Healthy Louisiana are federally-certified public health workers who are licensed by the Louisiana Department of Insurance. Their role is to serve as in-person assisters for those seeking information and assistance enrolling in affordable health insurance through the federal Marketplace. Our Navigators cover the entire state with assistance available in Bossier City, Monroe, Natchitoches, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Hammond, New Orleans and surrounding areas. Navigators are also mobile and have secured locations in rural communities, like libraries and health units, so they can meet with consumers who have trouble traveling outside their communities.

Navigators provide free in-person and remote computer assistance to consumers across the state in understanding and enrolling in health coverage through the federal Marketplace and in learning how to use health coverage to get the care they need.

For questions or assistance with enrollment, please contact a Health Insurance Navigator via phone at  1-800-435-2432 or via email here.
